Elizabeth comes to the real estate market with vast management experience in both the profit and non-profit sectors.  Her extensive background as a paralegal, event planner and real estate specialist allow her to focus in on the fine details necessary in every successful transaction.  She has negotiation, marketing and business development skills that are critical to successful real estate transactions whether she is representing the seller or the buyer.  Continuing education is an important part of Elizabeth's career.  Working with people in distressed situations (foreclosure, bankruptcy, divorce, etc.) is were Elizabeth excells.  As a former bankruptcy paralegal, Elizabeth understands the process and can help you through it.

JUNIOR LEAGUE OF SEATTLE:  1999-present. 2009-10 Junior League of Seattle Board of Directors, Sustainer Director, 2008-09 Sustainer Council Manager, 2007-09 Task Force for Northwest Art 50th Anniversary, 2007-08 Sustainer Council Treasurer, 2006-07-Sustainer Council Secretary, 2005-06 Membership Services Manager,JLS Manager Board, 2004-05 Membership Services Advisor,  2003-2004 Chairman “Celebrate the Rain” cookbook.  Responsible for production of the new JLS cookbook, funding, event parties, community participation.   NewCookbook,2002-03 Vice Chairman NW Classics, JLS Provisional Mentor, 2000-01 Chairman of Simply Classic, Provisional Leader, NW Classics V-Chair, Simply Classic  Committee member in 2000 and Provisional in 1999. Co-chairman of provisional project to collect items from sustainers for Wise Penny pickup. Double placed in 2000-2001 as a group leader for provisional group.

 

FRENCH IMMERSION SCHOOL OF WASHINGTON:  Fundraising Chair for private elementary school PTA.  Responsible for an auction taking in over $50,000 annually as well as a carnival in the spring, Sally Foster Holiday paper sales, and other fundraising throughout the year.  Primary responsibility is to seek out fundraising ideas to produce money making ideas for the school.

 

SEATTLE SYMPHONY ASSOCIATES:     V-President of Fundraising for SSVA Board (2002-04), Co-Chairman for the New Year’s Eve Gala and Chair for the Spring Rummage Sale as well as participating in various other activities surrounding fund raising for the Symphony. 1997-present. Holiday Musicial Salute through present. Chair of Fall Kick-off (2005).

 

SEATTLE ART MUSEUM:  Various projects throughout the year. 

 

PONCHO:  1999-present.  Help out in various ways.  Collecting donated items, helping at the events, sewing drapes for event.  Helped with the PONCHO Garage Sale setup and breakdown (2002-04),  Launch Party  PONCHO Wine Auctions & PONCHO Galas.

 

STARS (SEATTLE BALLET):  2005-present.  Member of the Executive Board 2006-07, Member of the Scholarship committee 2005-06, Volunteer for various projects.  Nutcracker Ball (2002-03). Member of STARS.  Opening Night Gala and Showcase home (Sept. 2005).

 

SEATTLE PUBLIC LIBRARY:  Volunteer twice a year for the annual book sale at Sand Point.  (1999-present).

  

Interests, Hobbies and Affiliations:

Community Service....

The Seattle community is important to Elizabeth.  She participates as a volunteer with the Junior League of Seattle (where she was the project chair for the new, award-winning cookbook, "Celebrate the Rain"), Seattle Art Museum, PONCHO, the Seattle Symphony, The French Immersion School of Washington, PNB STARS, Historic Seattle & Seattle Public Library Friends of the Library to name a few.  She is also involved with the John L. Scott Foundation and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
